Privacy

This site sells books and checks answers. It does not want to know who you are.

What is stored when you check an answer

When you submit a name, three things are written down: which book you were checking, the name you typed, and whether it was right. Nothing else.

Your IP address is not stored. What is stored is a one-way hash of it, which cannot be turned back into an address. It exists so the site can tell one visitor from another for a few minutes and stop a stuck browser from hammering the server. It is not used to identify anybody.

What is not collected

No account, no name, no email address, no payment details. There is nothing to sign up for. The site sets one cookie, which remembers which book you unlocked so you do not have to type the case reference again between guesses. It expires when you close the browser.

Where the buy buttons go

The buy buttons link to Amazon. What Amazon does once you are there is covered by Amazon's own privacy policy, not this one.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through those links. This does not change the price you pay.
